(Virtue) Mary (Rebecca) known as Mary Lewis, was born 8 February 1903 in Casterton,Victoria. She married Harold Wilke 25 June 1921 at Lewis' home, O'Halloran Tce.Mt.Gambier South Australia. She died 28 January 1996 in the Nursing Home at Millicent, South Australia.

One thing we all remember about Grandma Mary Wilke is that she really hated having her photo taken!

The four photographs below show her on a visit to Adelaide (rare in itself!) in 1974, on her 80th birthday in February 1983, on her 90th birthday in 1993 and another one of her later that same year sitting “out the back” (in the sun!)
